"Dream House Remix" SHOW • July 8 - OcTober 8, 2017
Peninsula Fine Arts Center • NEWPORT NEWS, VA
In 1992, the Peninsula Fine Arts Center presented "Dream House" which consisted of 76 artists creating over 200 works within the galleries. The exhibition resonated with the community and individuals still talk about the exhibition. The Peninsula Fine Arts Center has decided to re-imagine this beloved exhibition for its 25th anniversary. The exhibition entitled "Dream House Remix" will be on display from July 8 - October 8, 2017. The galleries at the Peninsula Fine Arts Center will be transformed into various rooms of the home -- living room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom, library, bathroom. The theme is home is where the art is when you step into this exhibition. The exhibition stretches our imagination about what home is and how these very familiar objects are transformed visually.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
In May of 2015, I published my first book. It is a coloring book for both children and adults. After sharing some of my illustrations with some adult friends and seeing them enjoy coloring them so much, I decided I needed to create a book to share.
I love seeing people reconnect with their childhood memories and getting lost in the mediative, calming state that coloring can bring about.
The first 75 books will be hand signed and will be released
June 11, 2015. You can place your order on my boutique page.
Please share your finished pieces with me! I would love to see them.
